I am reaping a lot of good from hanging around you longer time maintainers. In fact, you all helped me have a good report at the doctor's yesterday. Thanks to what I've learned from you, I've had an easier time with my weight through a couple hard to deal with injuries and a lot of losses this past year. I've managed to keep blood pressure in acceptable range (with no extra meds) and I'm slowly moving back into exercise since my June fall. You've shown me how to stay in the race when I'm not in racing form. Thank you, everyone.
Thanks to you all, when I told the dr how I've handled some things, she said I've done everything right. She further said that's why I've not had another stroke, and I'm not on diabetes medication. Even more, she told me if all goes well, I can wait another year to see her. Can't have a better result than that. I really like her, but... .
Your recipes and fitness and nutrition trackers help me stay on the straight and narrow even when I only use them part time. They have helped me internalize what I need to do...
So thank you once again, SparkPeople! You've helped me have a better and more fun life. God put me in your path on purpose. I can only hope and pray He's put you on my path for a good purpose as well. God bless as we move toward another fall.
