February Progress on my 2018 Goals
So where am I? I’m a bit off track and disorganized. It’s time to take stock:
1) I started and ended the month within range, but there were about 6 days where my weight was over the arbitrary limit I set for myself. Plantar fasciitis is contributing to the problem.
2) My steps are on track in spite of my Plantar fasciitis issue.
3) I’ve got a light strength training routine that I do 3 times a week. I’m just working on making it a habit right now.
4) Organization:
a. I’m doing very well with office emails. I’ve got good habits that I’m maintaining every day.
b. I’m developing a technique to keep my office calendar updated in line with the same level of efficiency as my office emails.
c. Home paperwork has been neglected. I’ve got a plan to get that in shape by chipping away a bit every evening this week.
d. Photos are coming along. They’re all digital so I’m working to keep everything in folders so I can find things more easily. I’ve got the software to sort and organize everything by keywords, but I don’t want to waste time and resources by tagging everything. I need to continue to keep deleting photos that aren’t worth keeping so I can focus my attention on “the good stuff.”
e. Personal emails are still a mess – I’m just saving things in folders until I make the time to go through and decide what to keep and what to trash.
f. Personal calendar – Funny I put this last, it’s really my highest priority. I almost missed paying a bill due to my disorganized state. I can’t allow that to happen. I’m getting to work on my Personal Calendar TODAY!
I’m not thinking about taking classes this month. Other than the new details to my Organizational Goals, I’m not adding any new goals right now.
Writing this blog has really helped me organize my thoughts. Now it’s time to get to work.
Let’s make 2018 a great year!
