I hate change!

I like life to be totally quiet and calm. I do not like things to come up that are unexpected or cause a change in the status quo. My job, before I retired was what some people thought extremely boring but I loved the expected flow of the computer program. Today I made a big change and I am still all in one piece. I have not had my hair cut in a year. I knew it was time when the ends began to spit and then those split ends split again so I had 4 splits on the hairs. It was also getting dull and very dry. I did a lot of research on hairstyles for people my age and ask my friends lots of questions. When I talked to the stylist, she did give me some pointers and pros and cons from what I was thinking and we ended up agreeing to cut off 8 inches of my hair. It was a shock to see all that hair on the floor when she was finished. The good part is that my husband likes it and I like it. It is so much cooler and I think it makes me look younger. (That statement may be debatable but I do feel more in style). Who knows maybe 8 inches of hair off will make the numbers on my scale go down. I can always hope on that one. Change is not so bad after all.
