The final resting place of all the rocks that Larry and I collected over the years. Most were found while he was surveying and meandering through the countryside.
This is the base to the fountain we found on our property. We have to mend it and hopefully it will work. The polished rocks around the base give it a cool look.
This is the fossil end.
You can see the imprints of the shells.
These are not even the big ones. The long flat top one is 16 inches long, 9 inches high and 5 inches front to back. The really big ones are still by the shed waiting for the front corner to be prepped. That's my next projects.
Lots of hard work but I will have fun filling in the rest of the spots with my newly polished rocks from the 5 gallon buckets in the shed. Plus I will probably rearrange them on a regular basis. Kind of like playing with Lego's.....
I love planning my yard every year. I go to the library and borrow landscaping books by the piles, and come home, set them on my patio table, grab some snacks and a drink and E N J O YYYYYY! Sometimes the planning is more fun than the actually DOING. Yet seeing your imagination MANIFESTED is quite fulfilling. Have fun! 778 days ago
Hi, I wonder if you will be decorating your garden for Christmas? If you do, I'd love to have a pic, especially if there are lights at night. I know you are still enjoying your garden. Lovely.
