I've been trying to get into the habit of setting goals at the beginning of every new month, and today I was thinking about what I want to accomplish in October. But rather than list the tired old nutrition and fitness goals I rarely seem to be consistent with, I'm going to try something radically new. I'm going to list the ways I plan to take really good care of my body this month.

Keep myself properly hydrated, so my skin, hair and nails don't get dry and brittle.

Get enough rest, so I don't feel tired and draggy during the day.

Eat mostly unprocessed and homemade food, since my body likes my cooking best.

Spend a few minutes in the morning pampering myself by using the curling iron on my hair and moisturizing my skin before fixing my makeup.

Treat myself to a manicure and pedicure, since pretty nails make me smile.

Use my essential oils to make my home, truck, and office smell nice.

Spend time reading, since books are a great source of relaxation for me.

Exercise in whatever way I find enjoyable, because exercise is a stress reliever and if I enjoy it, I'll actually do it.

Spend time doing some of my hobbies: writing, quilting, sewing.
October looks like it's going to be a great month!
