April 30 - 11th Sparkversary

Eleven years today, my sister invited me to join a 4 week challenge with Coach Nicole. Guess what? I am still here while she has gone a long time ago. This site, I must admit, may have saved my life because I was on the verge of becoming very obese.

Thoughts for a better ME!
1 - I have learned that I am human and do have temptations from time to time and I fall off the wagon. Am I proud of that? No. But, this is NOT going to deter me from trying again and again until I succeed.
2 - I have lost some weight since being on SP. Although I have gained 'some' of it back since arriving in Canada, I know that once I am back into my routine, the weight will come off again. SP definitely helps me to stay on track.
3 - Despite the fact that I tend to be shy, I do enjoy meeting people and exchanging thoughts with them. SP is ideal for this -- especially so in this time of confinement. I have made wonderful 'online' friends from all over the world.
4 - I love leading some of the teams. This helps me tremendously in staying accountable not only to myself but to the other team members.
5 - Once I am in my own home (still at our daughter's place), I will go on a somewhat Keto diet. I love what the food looks like and it could help my husband and I to lose our weight once and for all. Long term? No, I do not believe so. Portion control will come after.
6 - Exercise-wise, for about six months now my activities have only comprised of walking. Walking for me is relaxing despite the fact that I do walk quickly. For me, I need more than this. I intend to go back to Tai Chi, Turbo Jam, Taebo, Zumba, weight lifting, etc. I look forward to having my own space.
