Stress!

Sunday, May 10, 2020

"Remember that stress doesn't come from what's going on in your life. It comes from your thoughts about what's going on in your life." ~ Andrew Bernstein

I have read many blogs posted by "Watermellon" discussing this very topic! I really do need to journal or pay closer attention to my thoughts! Fleeting as they may be!

Anyway, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL OF US EVEN THOSE MALES AMONG us sparkers!

Journaling always helps me. Once I close that book I have, whatever I was worried about was gone. Since the Covid19 though, it caused my anxiety disorder to get worse. So I had to give in, after many years without prescription medication, to get another one a few weeks ago. With hurricane season coming up, I couldn't deal with both at the same time. We went for a walk in a newly opened park on Sunday, just posted a blog with pics, if you want to check it out. Walks always helps my stress levels too.
    Hang in there. emoticon

I am sorry if you are experiencing stress . . . and yup, when we "feel our thinking" about the stuff that happened in the past or might happen in the future, as if it was actually happening in the present: it can get stressful!!

We all are sad or worried from time to time and that's OK: but we don't have to "take it to heart", we can just let it pass. Like the weather . . . or the tides.

Indeed---One person may react hysterically or very upset, while others remain calm. I like to remember everything in this life has a beginning, a middle, and an end. Happy Mother's day my friend!
