Still Sparking

I have never before logged and kept track of my food. It's been really helpful to become more mindful of what I put into my body. I hardly ever emotional eat any more, and when I do it is an apple and healthy peanut butter as opposed to a gazillion Triscuits. I love my routine of an at least 45 minute morning run, followed by watering my garden. I am grateful for the opportunity to do this. I have the opportunity to work out every morning because I am working remotely and very part-time right now. I know that so many others are working full-time or stuck in a hot city where it's not as safe to get outside.
I practiced gratitude during my morning jog today. This is a practice that comes and goes in my life. I'm grateful that I have a lot of knowledge about exercising and healthy eating. I'm grateful that I have a consistent exercise routine and I enjoy it. I'm grateful that I practice healthy self talk and I have learned to set healthy boundaries in the last 2 years. I am grateful that I continue to grow and I have finally started to prioritize myself more. I feel that as women, we are usually encouraged to put other people's needs before our own. Here's to growing, adopting, changing, and prioritizing ourselves!
