Now, I Need a Partner!

I need the inspiration. I have been reading exercise articles and watching some of my old exercise videos. I was hoping to get inspired to exercise but, I guess I'm just too old.
When I was 69 I was all into exercising with my DVDs and going by the calories-in-calories out diet for years. That would work for me until I could not control my hunger, then I would put the weight right back on exercise or not.
Then one day, a younger friend came over while I was exercising and gave me a compliment. She said I can not believe that you can and are still exercising at your age. Well, that got me to thinking, why am I still killing myself exercising when I'm about to turn 70 and who cares anyway.
So, from that day to this I have not exercised and I am 73 now.
I said all of that to say this. I wish my friend had never complimented me. Because my thinking after that was ALL WRONG.
I have come to realize that it is important to keep exercising for my health. Not so much to look good but to stay agile, flexible, and have balance.
Well, I have found a way to lose weight and get healthier with my diet without exercise. I have actually brought my A1C down from 8.0 to 5.0, improved my triglycerides, liver, electrolytes, kidney function, and got my thyroid is in control. Now I need the inspiration to get back into exercising. I want to take some long walks and maybe ride my bicycle. But, I just can not seem to make myself start again. I think a walking partner would help. Do any of y'all live in Bonham Texas and who might want to walk?
