Tired of the ChaCha

Thursday, July 02, 2020

For the last little bit I have been doing the Cha Cha... two steps forward, two steps back- playing around with the same two pounds and never going any where... wanting to break out of the 200 pound range and being so close only to bounce back up again. I continued to follow diet plan, exercise, drink water, track food... everything we tell people to do and still the cha cha continued...

I was very frustrated... don't know what I did different but it finally gave up and I am finally below the 200 pound mark... still doing the cha cha but below in onederland for now. Keeping my fingers crossed at present that my body does not want to do bigger cha cha steps back and will be satisfied with 2 pound increments to play around with....

Congratulation on reaching Onederland, I dream of it. And I can’t dance, I would like to learn one day. You are strong, you reached the one thing and will go slowly and steadily down and maintain. The joy is too big, you will want this. Thanks for supporting me!

I've always wanted to get to Onederland, but have resigned myself to accept that bouncing between 210-220 for my 6'2" height is my "set point." It's a range that I find manageable and begrudgingly acceptable. I tell myself, if I could hack off all this flabby skin of mine I probably WOULD be in Onederland! :-)

Oh goodness - I do know that dance. In fact, I dance it like a pro. Congrats on reaching ONEderland and don't let anything stop you for reaching your goal. You are headed in the right direction and are getting it done!

You are not alone! I can totally relate, I have been cha-cha'ing since March. Between 202 and 206, and like you were, I am itching to break into one-derland! I am doing all the right things, so just have to wait it out. I am inspired that you made it! emoticon
