Can I be a druggy?

Monday, July 13, 2020

We have been so excited, since we moved! We have been able to settle in nicely. Our home is coming together. Our neighborhood is awesome. The recreational center is amazing. Did I say, pool! Yeah, today was our third time going to the pool.

The pool is my "drug of choice!" When I get into the pool, I am so excited, first I swim underwater for the count of 10, where I slowly count to 10 and move through the water. When I surface, I move my arms and legs, treading water, yet moving from one side to the other, or the length of the lap, 1/2 if it is busy, then somewhere during my "High" I do water boxing, lifting my legs to the side, and punch, jab, and move my arms. Add in 25 jumping jacks, and I know I have had a GREAT Workout!!! My drug of choice, absolutely! I feel my endorphins "pump me up" and I feel awesome for several hours.

Yes, I feel I could be a druggy, but my drug....the POOL! I encourage you to find something that works for You! Walking, dancing, zumba, bike, strength training, find what works and "Just Do It!" You will feel amazing!

Thank you everyone. The pool is at the POA recreational center. 10 minutes from the house and so much joy, peaceful, and a great place for all.

Oh my goodness I am so happy for you! I remember seeing pictures of your home and thinking how beautiful it was but I am almost a little pea green because my drug of choice would also be the swimming pool! ....💦 ...Oh yeah!! Keep having fun! emoticon

A pool would be my drug of choice too. I used to have one and loved it. Lots of work but it is worth it.

Ohh that's awesome 👍 exercising in the pool. We didn't get a membership for the pool this year cause of the virus but you're right it's a great way to get those fitness minutes in. WTG woohoo
