"With everything that has happened to you, you can either feel sorry for yourself or treat what has happened as a gift. Everything is either an opportunity to grow or an obstacle to keep you from growing. You get to choose." (Author Unknown)
Quarantine Day #145
Hello, my lovely friends!
What a busy Monday we had. Now I remember why I dislike going out on Mondays because there were a lot of people out and about. I think many people try to avoid shopping on weekends because so many people are out there and waited until Monday to go out. We stop by Home Depot and our Walmart Neighborhood Marketplace and both were crowded. Home Depot had gloves and masks there and we bought a couple of boxes of each to have on hand later on down the road. For some reason, several of our lightbulbs all decided to go out and we stocked up on those. My mom was happy to be out in a store again.
We then went to the Walmart market and there was a good amount of people there as well. I made a mental note to not go out on Mondays anymore. We got everything we needed for a few weeks. We were supposed to go out last week because we only got what we needed for our brunch, but we never got around to getting out. I like going to that store because it is such a low traffic place because it’s a neighborhood market instead of the HUGE Walmart we have by the house.
Today we’re going to see my dad. We already got a mix of different colored roses for him. Scooter will be happy to go on a car ride because he loves being in the car. It’s so cute he’ll start getting comfortable and the moment the cars stops he has to jump up and look out the window. I think he believes he’s going to miss something on the way. I’m going to wait on giving him a haircut because of his itching last week.
Be safe! BIG HUGS AND LOVES TO YOU ALL!
