Action Reaction - Fixed vs Growth Mindset

COVID-19, Work and divorce issues are really a bummer for me right now.
It’s like a constant effort to hang on to “normalcy” in such strained times.
I need to regain my sense of balance to replace the sense of dread as I watch our daily positive counts hovering in triple digits, seeing hospital capacity increasing to dangerous levels, and we’re back into a Stay at Home/ Work at Home Order. Time to pause and pay attention.
My growth-mindset half of my brain whispers to me that I have to shift my focus now...rise above the clamor of statistics. We all have a lot going on in our lives and the environment that surrounds it. It’s important to acknowledge this along with all that we’re doing individually to act with care and deliberateness. There are restrictions in place, so things will be a bit different for now.
I made a short list of top 2 things that I missed or needed right now. The next step is to create a second column next to the list and jot down what I can do to welcome that back. For me that was doable, given my current state of frazzlehood. Maybe you can choose just 1 thing...or maybe you can tackle more. Ah, now my focus is back on the important things for my health and wellness!
I hope and pray the circumstances outside of my control get better with time and cooperation. In the meantime, thank goodness for the support of SparkPeople friends and Community!!
