Friday almost the weekend

One more day of work - hopefully not late again. I did manage to log off at my normal time yesterday and get up to the store. They didn't have any of the Eight O'Clock whole bean coffee, I had to settle for pre-ground. Good thing I checked the downstairs freezer - my son was out of veggies - he's really good about eating his veggies. They had also gotten a shipment of my favorite wine in, so I picked up a few bottles of that, too. And a half-papaya for me.

Tomorrow I go over to a friend's house to help him pack. He sold his house and needs to be out of it by the end of next weekend, but he's living over an hour away where his new job is, so he only has weekends and hasn't gotten far enough to get it finished by himself. He did also finally get the house he wanted at a price he could afford and will close on that a couple weeks after the current house. Everything will only be in storage for a short time.

It's another grey day here - it did rain yesterday afternoon - after I got back from the store. Today's forecast: Cloudy. Periods of rain this morning. High 67F. A few degrees warmer than yesterday, but not warm enough to open the house back up.
