Well this has been a challenging week. Tuesday morning, Brad called and said that he was very sick and was heading to the ER. He had been vomiting, had diarrhea and his urine looked like coke cola! Our first thought was the virus. He was tested and it wasn't that. Something about how his billiruubin count that is supposed to be around 1.5 and his was 5. They put him on a antibiotic. He announced that he was a cancer patient and had been at this hospital and he said they were so inept. But he called his oncologist in NY and told them what was going on, and they told the ER doctor how to treat him. He was trying to shrug it all off as unimportant, but i could hear the fear in his voice. He called us Wed & Thursday night to report that most of the symptoms were gone. He is in NY now they will do a MRI and a CTscan on Sunday. They may put a stenth in to drain his bile ducts. Oh yeah, he was jaundiced as well. So they are up in NY and plan to try and enjoy the city for a change.

The Margaret story is she is advancing. Went to the doctor today and they removed the sutures and staples today and put a new cast on it for the next 3 weeks. If it keeps healing they will remove the cast and put a boot on it. She said the doctor said that she can't go back to work until November! And only if they allow her to work with the scooter. So fun and games all the way around. I need to get to my doc and see if I can get my cortisone shots. I am hoping to get my surgery before she goes back to work. She is getting around well with her scooter but going nuts as she can't do much house work and I don't do as well as she does and not able to play with her new washer and dryer. I work and then try and take care of her and the house. Get a few hours of sleep and then start all over again.
