Week one, day six, 9/26/2020

Today I ate two candy bars and am still on track. I am doing the NoSdiet. I eat no sweets, no snacks and no seconds except on the days that start with S. The obvious ones like Saturday and Sunday but also S days of birthdays and holidays. I took an S day on the first day of Fall to have my annual drink of a salted caramel mocha from Starbucks.
I have been losing weight this way off and on for years. I have struggled with the sweets and now see that I can put it off until the weekend. I am working at this time on not having snacks. I am so use to just going and having a snack any time of day. I am making my meals of one 8 inch plate filling it with lots of fruit and veggies. I am not hungry between meals so I don't really have to have something. It is just a habit. I put a glass of ice with Snapple tea and water in the frig. and when I find myself there I just get a drink and go on. Most of the time I am bored in the evening so now have a project of my comfort journal to work on. I look forward to that.
Today I took a long walk around downtown seeing where the protesters are having their rally. They will do that until evening and than walk over to the jail house and give speeches. And of course yell. I would be down there if I was young. The jail house is right across the street from us.
