New day, new goal!
Thursday, October 01, 2020
Ok, I'm tired of whining, and I've had enough of grieving at the moment. I'm sure things will come around again, but right now I want to focus on new goals.
I was reading a spark article about pre-diabetes, which I have, and it said if you're obese to try for 10% loss of your body weight. So for me that's 21 lbs. I'm going to set a new goal of 20 lbs. If it means eating less, so be it.
I've read eating 5-6 small meals are better than 3 meals, so I'm going to start spreading out my calories so I'm not so hungry .
I'm going to limit the amount of calories in a day, a healthy limit, but still, a limit. I'm sure it will mean learning new portion amounts, but that's a good thing.
I'm going to get in some exercise every day, no matter what.
I'm going to log everything. I'm worth taking the time for.
I'm going to log on my personal calendar, the monthly goals, so when I weigh each month I'll know if I've accomplished anything, or even head in the right direction.
There are many things I can't control about my life, but these things I can.
Here we go again. If I've learned anything, it's that it doesn't matter how many times you fall off the wagon. You never get anywhere unless you get back on.
PS: I'm still thinking about the reward since I have everything I want!
