Done With The Plateau

I don't know about anyone else but I hit my plateau in August. I figured it was going to be a short lived thing in my life like they had been in the past... a few days to a week and then I would continue on my journey down the scale. WRONG. This plateau liked me as stuck with mid mid August to almost mid October. As hard as I tried, I could not shake lose out of the 180's on the scale. I would bounce from 183 to 185 to 181 to 183. I watched what I ate, tracked it, drank more water, tracked it, did more exercise, tracked it... still 180's with mo real budge to the 170's....

Then an idea hit me one day when I was out walking with my little side companion, Sassy. We were walking about 5-6000 steps per day and that was comfortable. What would happen if we increased our steps to 10,000 per day. So braced up my bad knee and away we went... with in 4 days the scale moved and is continuing to move... we are walking twice a day to get our steps in and I am now in the 170's... woohoo.

All it took was a bit more movement on my part for movement on its part... who would have thunked...lol
