Fall Color Hikes

Sunday, October 18, 2020

I love enjoying the seasonal changes, particularly the fall colors. The aspens were turning yellow in Shevlin Park.

I hiked around 5 miles enjoying the aspens and the river views.

Yesterday Hanne, her DH Don and I hiked the Deshutes River trail from Dillan Falls to Slough Camp. It was beautiful.

Don doesn’t often join us, but I am very glad that he did. He has rheumatoid arthritis, which is treated with a drug infusion; the drug was originally a chemo drug.

The trail is shared by hikers, bicyclists, and equestrians

This is been a very strange year. Because of the pandemic and the wildfires, I have not been able to travel or hike as much as usual. Every minute is precious. And I am enjoying this glorious fall.
