This is what we woke up to this AM--SNOW--- and--I actually went out to shovel the sidewalks-
It is a heavy wet snow, so will probably melt during the day.
Yesterday was fun---Himself's 92nd Birthday.
I am happy that it is over however--- We were both worn out by evening with all the excitement!
The grownup children who live in town came out--mostly stayed outside-- but it was fun to see them! I think that is why we were happy to see the day end--too much excitement in this Pandemic!
Each family brought food-- Funny eh?--- Son #4 brought out breakfast, Son #3 brought some lunch, and Son #1, surprised us with dinner from his restaurant.
I captured these 2 Grandchildren waiting for their parents , who are helping Himself do something--
There is so much to do before winter seriously arrives!
It is the first time EVER that I did NOT eat any Birthday cake-- chopped it up --and sent it home with each family!
The highlight of the day, was when the Queen called Himself--
Yes, Buckingham Palace, asking for him! (Of course he knew it was me on my cell in another room)
So, I am heading to the Dreadmill--in our gym, (which is really our rec room)---then outside to shovel----Lord love a Duck! -- hopefully I can get some of the excess weight off my eyeballs before the cataract surgery---*S*
This is our daughter and some of her family many years ago--getting ready for Halloween--
They always put together the cutest costumes--mostly from the Good Will--
Halloween is just around the corner---
I wonder how that will go in this Pandemic?
