Walk in the Light

From the days of Jesus Christ, the ungodly religious have made alliances with corrupt politicians (Mark 3:6). It is an antichrist spirit that prevails in the world and is of the world (1 John 2:18). Jesus warned that the world will hate his followers because the world hated him first. When the world despises you, know you are in good company. “The same spirit that incarcerates the innocent frees the guilty, and that spirit is hate” (the Holy Spirit).
"Love not the world, neither the things in the world (1 John 2:15). Don’t you know that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whoever desires to be a friend of the world is the enemy of God" (James 4:4).
No doubt, many esteemed opportunities arose for Jesus among the people. Yet he made himself of no reputation. He chose to do his Father’s will only.
It is written:
what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?
what communion hath light with darkness?
what concord hath Christ with Belial?
what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?
Wherefore, come out from them…and I will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty” (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).
As difficult as the way may be, those who choose to follow Jesus will not walk in darkness (John 8:12).
