We weigh in and despite our best efforts, we gain weight or don’t lose.

Then we take to negative thinking like, “I’m just going to fail as usual, so why bother?”

We think “I may as well _______.”

Truth here: It takes 3600 calories EXTRA (above your body’s basic metabolism caloric need) to gain a pound of weight.

Ask yourself if you ate 3600 calories above your maintenance base metabolic burn.

If you did not, you could not have gained fat. Water weight perhaps. Water flux happens daily even hourly depending on factors like exercise, food, drink, hormones, stress...

Trust that your method will work if you stick to it. Consistency and making little healthy choices beats quitting and big sweeping changes every single time.
