Thanksgiving Food Coma - 11-26-20

Thursday, November 26, 2020

Don't let it happen to you! Stacy Andrew got a photo of her pup in a food coma, fast asleep in the water bowl:

This is a day when it's easy to overdo - just don't end up in this position!

DH is baking a ham since it's just the two of us; soon the house will smell unbearably delicious. We'll begin pulling out the Christmas decorations later today and slowly start decorating so we'll have LOTS of time to enjoy the season. It will be quiet, but we have so much to be grateful for!

Husband brought home a fresh pine wreath yesterday, and between it and the smoked turkey, the house smelled amazing. I’m enjoying my fall devotions through today and will transition to winter and Christmas tomorrow. I’ll put on some Christmas music, make a pot of apple spice tea, eat leftovers, and enjoy the day.
That doggy in his dish is hysterical!

Ham is good. I did a turkey, think I'll just do a ham for Christmas though. It all smells good though, tasted good too.

    Enjoy your weekend.

I am roasting a chicken, being on my own with the pups today. Also roasting potatoes, cauliflower and carrots. The chicken is my 😋. I usually prepare boneless skinless.
