Optimistic!

Friday, December 18, 2020

I am feeling a little optimistic this week. I have been fighting to lose more than 6 ounces without gaining it right back again ,,,, The doctor has been increasing my insulin periodically and once I hit the level I am on now, ALL weight loss ended.

This week I have been doing a lot of praying and adjusting here and there and the last 2 days I have managed to drop about 2 pounds. Those that believe, please Pray that I can behave and keep this momentum headed down! emoticon

Sending many blessings your way, Debbie, as you're continuing to work toward better health. Juggling meds and health issues is not an easy road to trudge. It's one foot in front of the other and listen to your body. Sometimes it will tell you what you need to get from here to there. Be well, stay safe,m and have a Merry Christmas if I don't talk to you again.
    Virtual hugs,

Hugs and prayers. Taking insulin does cause weight gain, unfortunately. **SIGH**

Will keep you in my thoughts. I just had labs done and while I thought that having covid back in July jump started my metabolism, found out yesterday that my thyroid went from Hypo to Hyper so she changed my medication from 100 mcg to 88 mcg. We shall see how that works. I hope I don't gain the weight I just lost in the last 5 months back. I will really have to watch it. I have a lot of luck with my weight if when tracking my nutrition I try to keep my micronutrients in check. Like I should have 48 % carbs 26 % fats and 26% protein. It's different for everyone. Hope that helps. emoticon
