Monday, MLK Day

Wishing everyone a thoughtful Martin Luther King Jr Day. He stood by his principles and they are something we should all aspire to live up to.
I had to laugh at the challenge from Spark Coach today. It was, "Try to make just one of your meals today free of meat, poultry, fish or seafood." Anyone who's known me for a while would know that that's how I eat all day, every day. I am Whole Food Plant Based No SOS (added salt, oil, or sugar) except for this past Saturday when I fell off the wagon and drove thru Popeye's - It tasted good for about 1 leg, then it was just greasy and yuck. I am still trying to figure out why I did it.
Yesterday I got back on the horse and actually logged every single bite that went into my mouth. I frequently forget something and so end up not getting the 10 points in the challenge, but I got them for yesterday.
In other news, I am liking my Charge 4 more now that I realize it is keeping me honest about my exercise. It won't count minutes for just steps - they have to be step minutes where your heart rate is elevated enough for it to be considered exercise.
