Worked on removing 3 layers of paint off of overhead bin doors. There is 4 of them. One down … 3 more to go. Hubby is a champ … but not a happy camper. Remember, he hates manual labor.
DS1 called this morning to say … they got insurance for him. I am soooooo relieved. It covers pre-existing issues. DIL is diabetic. And DS1’s brain tumor. Whew.
They did NOT get the results from his blood work … yet. So, he has not started the meds.
One step forward … then pause.
More exerts from Steve #100:
Fat people are influenced by fat people.
Fit people have become desensitized to the opinions of fat people.
Fit people have learned to block out the opinions, beliefs and philosophies of the masses. Why follow the advice and example of people who are barely getting by?
Critical Thinking Question: Have the opinions of other people contributed to your weight problems???
Action Step: Stop listening to fat people who want to advise you on how to get fit. Remember that most people aren’t very good at getting what they want. Make a decision to only allow experts to guide and influence you along your path to fitness.
My extra pounds have nothing to do with the opinions, life styles or behaviors of anyone … I mean no one … but me.
I may have been taught the fallacy … food will make you feel better when life is difficult … but my eating behaviors are on me.
BFF overeating doesn’t sway me to do the same.
Unfortunately, Hubby’s healthy eating habits have not swayed me either.
I am currently struggling with my new Doc coz she is morbidly obese … bigger than me. You can know WHAT to do and NOT do it. I mean, hello … I know what to do. But she is supposed to be a member of my team to get me healthy???
***Remember that most people aren’t very good at getting what they want.***
Well, I’m gonna break that rule, Steve !!!
Just do it … already. No matter what.
Change your mind … and the rest WILL follow.
