Great restaurant wonderful time

We had a fantastic time last night but again, feel so sorry for everyone so impacted by this pandemic. It was a beautiful store front restaurant with a large patio area and probably could seat well over 200 people. No need for outdoor dining, we were one of three groups in the entire place. We had a side of the restaurant to ourselves. I hope they make it as the food was excellent.

We ordered quite a few dishes and everyone shared. Nice flavors and we were all almost giddy to be out in a group!

The nine year old who is visiting was blown away that all 5 adults at the table had lived in her home at one point in their life. Her dad, my nephew, bought my grandmothers farm and remodeled the very old farmhouse. He is very handy. We all told her stories of how one time or another we lived at graddmas house as she had an apartment upstairs to bring in extra money. Just so happens that her current bedroom location is where we all had our bedrooms. I stayed with my husband when we were in college, my son when he went to college as well, my sister when her house was being remodeled, etc, etc.

She really got a kick out of it. Of course she lives in a very nice, beautiful home that could be in a magazine as her mother is an amazing decorator. We all were living there when it was very basic and we were all very poor. My grandma helped a lot of people go to school or get over some life hurdle by renting her small apartment to them.

Taking them to the airport today and life is going back to normal. Missing them all ready.
