Oh my, here it has been since Tuesday that I wrote here. Another week on the go. Here the calendar start off blank and it is filling up fast. Everyday this week has had something going on. Today Larry and I both got our hair cut. I haven't touch mine since the summer of '19, as I like to grow it out for the winter, every little bet help keep the cold out, and then Covid hit, and I didn't feel comfortable going in last year, but it was getting to be a head ache, and besides I was shedding, and I honest thought that I was going bald, as it just wasn't a few hair on the brush, no it was a hand full, even Molly this morning remarked on it. But anyway it was way pass my shoulders, and now it is about 2 inches long and feels so much better. And actually looks like I have plenty of hair left.
Got to report that Merlin is do fantastic. He is acting like his old self and has the appetite of a teenage. Like this morning he had an egg/cheese/chopped ham on toast, and then for dinner (lunch to some) he had a Hot Dog w cheese roll ups. I sometimes feel like I spend more time cooking for him than I do for the 2 of us. And then when he goes to bed in the shop he gets 4 cups of kibbles, a can of dog food, a cup or so of rice, and some sort of left over. like last night I fixed up chicken breast over rice and he got a bunch of the soup mixture over the top of our chicken and rice, or I should say my rice as Larry will not eat rice. he had potatoes. But he still feels bony, but I know it is going to take a lot to get him back to his usual weight. But at least he is finally eating.
Other News, is that Jason, S3, was released to return to work, but not the job he did have. He now is in the feed end of the business running the fork lift, but at least he is working. Dr. didn't want hem anywhere near those hogs yet, as that knee is still healing, and he said another hit like the one that did this, and he would have to have a total new knee, and he doesn't want that at his age. But S2, had a total hip replacement at 39, due to bone cancer, and you would never know it unless you saw an xray and showing most of the bone in the leg is a rod, and then the total hip is all metal. Looks real weird.
Well, all else in great in Linda world, except I am ready for the weekend, and I think the only think we need to do is go to the locker and get our beef tomorrow. Haven't bought beef in the store for years. Well you all hang in there and enjoy the week end. Linda
