HI Jeff,

Thanks for posting. I don't know too much about changing OCD habits, but I do know that stopping something is really hard, but replacing it can help stop the activity. Replacing it with something positive is good for a double win.

Hello! I haven't been around for a while.

Work was busy, lawn needed mowed, just plain tired out, working on goals with therapist, caseworker, and health coach! Whew!

I'm gonna set some goals for this week, from now until June 4.

1) Walk or other exercise 5 times that week.

2) Cut down on sugar -- max 1 tsp per 8 oz cup, max 2 tsp per 16 oz cup of coffee

Also, does anyone have advice for quitting something that's both an OCD compulsion, as well as a habit? Or at least cutting back to the point it's under control?

May is well underway so I thought I'd check in.

Fitness
WT 5 days a week
Get up and cardio everyday

Maybe running at about 50% here.

Eating
Eat mindfully - and get a fruti/veggie, whole grain, and protein with each meal/snack.
Don't go to bed hungry, it ruins the next day's workout

Better here, but not by too much.

Other
Lose 8 pounds - this is a very stretch goal for me

this should be interesting.

Make progress on my cross stitch (I need to be done in June)

I have made pretty good progress, but might not be done by June. I've been going outside too much!!

Tomorrow starts May, so we best be setting ourselves some goals. What are your plans?

My goals:
Fitness
WT 5 days a week
Get up and cardio everyday
