Good Jog Jeff. Good luck with the scale tomorrow!

Marchem, some months we get and some get us. Given everything, that's okay. I hope you are feeling better!

Thanks for the motivation and the kind words. Jeff and Loren you did great. It's been a total bust for me. I haven't met any of my goals, but I have survived this month, so I'm taking that as a win. I'll reevaluate and set new goals for next month. I was on track for fitness minutes, but then I got sick and I also let myself sleep after some late games dd cheered at.

Loren,

Great job!!!

Marchem,

Great job!!! You did great given what you had on your plate this month.

PS My boss is back at work! I'm no longer in charge. Yay, no stress.

PSS Party went very well, but it did throw off my soda goal.

Progress:

(1) Doing this!

(2) I think so. More importantly, not getting sick off caffeine.

(3) The party threw me off.

(4) Didn't happen. But the last two weeks I think I got 2 x/week (but only 5 minutes at a time.)

Oh, good news: was 237.8 lbs this morning, still under 240 even with eating and drinking all day. So we'll see how tomorrow morning goes.

So we technically have one more day due to calendar corrections, but I figured I'd post before the weekend swept me away :).

1) 10,000 steps a day, stretch goal to have a daily average of 13,000 steps
This is going well. Overall my best goal.

2) Jog at least once per week.
Changed this to elliptical and got it.

3) Healthy Eat which includes:
==Weekly meal planning
Kinda
==Eating until 80% full
this did not work out like I wanted, it just makes me want to eat more often and think about food more often....
==Salad everyday
Pretty good until recently
==Eating to control migraines (not missing meals, no sugar crashes)
Decently. Dr started me on a new med, so now I get to start over with the trial and error.
==Try one new recipe
In the crockpot right now. Not new new, but a revamp of something I tried before

4) Do Weight Training 12 times per month
Yes

5) Learn guitar by practicing at least 10 minutes 5 days a week
Yes. I think I am getting better in proportion to the amount of time I spend practicing.

6) Declutter the dresser tops
I totally just did that knowing I was going to update this list! Way to motivate.

This month is unlikely, though things are looking up compared to last week. I have to complete over 35 evaluations this month, which includes meeting with each of the faculty members as well as reviewing their records. I've made real headway and this week involves a lot of meetings, but I feel better because the prep is done. I'm making time for exercise and going to bed early, but that's about as much as I can muster right now. Thanks for checking up on me.

Thanks for the check up. It looks like you both are progressing. Here's mine:

1. Track food daily and stay within calorie range. I started this last month and was better. Need to improve more.
Nope. Not doing it. Need to improve.

2. 900 minutes of exercise for the month. I made 1000 minutes this month, but with the shorter month and a lot of demands on my time, I really think 1000 is setting myself up for failure. 900 is much more realistic.
On track for this. But I've also been giving myself some grace. I've missed two days because I needed sleep more than exercise. That said, I'm still on track.

3. 8,000 steps daily. This was a mixed bag last month, but working on it and need to keep pushing myself.
I'm hitting about a quarter of the days.

This has been a very stressful and time consuming month. I know I need to make myself a priority, but not reaching two of my three goals.

Thanks Jeff,

I'm feeling pretty good about the month so far.

You are doing good as well! I would really struggle to do something like check blood twice a day. Great job!

It sounds like you're hitting more than half your goals, Loren.

So for having six and hitting like four of them is pretty good!

How are goals going?

(1) Pretty good. I'm in the routine, missed like three checks the past two weeks. (& that's checking twice a day)

(2) Yes, caffeine is under control. Today may be an exception. (PARTY!!!! at my house :-) )

(3) Did this

(4) Only getting 1x/week in. Sigh.

Alright we are about the half way point, how are you doing?

As for me

1) 10,000 steps a day, stretch goal to have a daily average of 13,000 steps
This is going well!

2) Jog at least once per week.
It has been so cold and yucky I have been elliptically instead. Higher heart rate than walking so I am going to count this as a win.

3) Healthy Eat which includes:
==Weekly meal planning
Eh, not really....

==Eating until 80% full
Kinda....

==Salad everyday
It has gotten skimpy the past few days, but started strong. Need to boost this.

==Eating to control migraines (not missing meals, no sugar crashes)
Pretty good, but eating too much.

==Try one new recipe
Opps, I'd better figure this out soon!

4) Do Weight Training 12 times per month
Doing pretty good here.

5) Learn guitar by practicing at least 10 minutes 5 days a week
Yes. Aiming for daily and missing a few so yah.

6) Declutter the dresser tops
I put more junk on them, ugh

Going realistic is a good choice!

Here are mine, they are very similar to last month.

1) 10,000 steps a day, stretch goal to have a daily average of 13,000 steps

2) Jog at least once per week.

3) Healthy Eat which includes:
==Weekly meal planning
==Eating until 80% full
