I listened to a little talk from a 'professional' health promoter yesterday, about how 1lb a week is a healthy and sustainable way to lose weight. And how it is achieved by reducing your calories by 500 a day - and how you can do that by, for example, reducing your calories IN by 300 (changing a couple of things or reducing portion sizes slightly) and increasing your calories OUT by 200 (exercising just a little more).
It reminded me how valuable these little tweaks are.
