We tried the 21-day kick the sugar challenge. I didn't have much problem. We both lost some weight. Then our son gave us chocolates for Christmas. By rationing, they lasted until March. However, my husband couldn't wait to get his sugar and instantly gained back 5 pounds. Report

Sugar addiction is real. In working with my clients, I have them reduce sugar and carbs And fuel frequently throughout the day so that the body begins to use fat as fuel (longer lasting fuel source which eliminates blood sugar swings and cravings that result). Sugar cravings go away quickly. Also, having a support group (coach, etc) helps in terms of staying on track. New habits are formed. Report
