Fall in Love with Breakfast

No matter what season it is, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but in the cooler months, it becomes that much more crucial. Not only will it fill your belly, ward off hunger, and keep you going strong until lunchtime, but the thought of that comforting meal will help rouse you from bed on chilly mornings. From apple-cinnamon oatmeal to pumpkin waffles and pancakes, we've got a dozen meals worth getting out of bed for this fall. Even better: These breakfasts are as healthy as they are easy!

2-Ingredient Pumpkin Muffins: These simple muffins are perfect for cool fall mornings.
Apple-Cinnamon Slow Cooker Oatmeal: Slow Cooker Oatmeal: Start the week off right with sweet and creamy slow cooker oats for breakfast. The evaporated milk adds such creaminess that you'll think you're having pudding for breakfast.

Coach Nicole's Pumpkin & Apple Waffles: These seasonal waffles are easy to make and are packed with protein and fiber. The perfect fall breakfast!
Cranberry-Maple-Pecan Granola: A delightful combination of fall flavors, this granola is perfect with skim milk or low-fat yogurt.
Granola-Pumpkin Parfait: Great for breakfast, lunch or just a snack to tide you over in between. Please your sweet tooth with this simple recipe

Healthy, Fruity Breakfast Hand Tarts: Ditch the toaster pastry. They're loaded with sugar and fat--and not much else. My hand tarts are full of fruit, and if you make them ahead of time your kids can grab them and go.
Nutty Baked Apples with Raisins: What a sweet warm treat for a cold afternoon! These apples are appropriate for those with diabetes, too!
  Orange Cranberry Muffins:
Hearty, healthy, low-fat and high-fiber. What more could you ask from a muffin?
Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal: Smooth, creamy and delicious, this filling oatmeal tastes just like fall!
Pumpkin Smoothie: Think outside the pie with this smoothie that is a sweet and healthy treat perfect for fall.
Sweet & Savory Rosemary-Maple Oats: The combination of rosemary and maple, with a hint of spice from the black pepper, is delightful.
Whole Wheat Spiced Pumpkin Pancakes: Moist and lightly spiced, these fiber-filled pancakes turn any morning into a special occasion.

I'm sorry...but the amount of carbs in these is way too much when we are trying to lose weight. They sound delicious but I'm going to pass. I will stick with my omelets. Report
those 2 ingredient pumpkin muffins are a favorite both full size and mini Report
Love these yummy breakfast recipes! Report
It seems fall is here already so I better start menu planning. Looks like these recipes may help. Report
I'm cooking a pumpkin today I got discounted from Halloween. The "Wildbunch" aka my children are getting tired of the cinnamon-maple oatmeal I usually make for breakfast. The pumpkin pie oatmeal will be a nice change for them. Report
I pinned a bunch of them Report
these look delish! pinned them. Report
looks good although I may have to substitute cranberries as hubby can't stand them. Report
Thanx for the ideas. I made a note to myself to prepare the orange cranberry muffins and the Apple-Cinnamon Slow Cooker Oatmeal as a special treat for my grandchildren when they visit me or whenever I visit with them. Since they all like cupcakes, the homemade orange cranberry muffin will definitely be a surprise treat for them. Report
I like the slow cooker oatmeal dishes. Report
I LOVE breakfast, it's my favorite meal of the day. I already make some of these or at least a similar version. Oatmeal Is my new fav. I think one reason I love b'fast so much is it's the 1 meal I have complete control and don't have to satisfy anyone but myself! time :) Report
