****UPDATE: June 2021
Facebook group: facebook.com/groups/spblogsharechallenge. Currently started a new journey to get back to my goal weight again. Now at my highest weight ever and trying to get back to a healthy bmi. It'll take time but I'm doing my best! One day at a time!
I'm very sad about sparkpeople closing down and will miss this site a lot. I've created a facebook group for anyone who wants to join that will miss spark as well. Open to anyone who wants to lose weight/maintain, share motivation etc.

facebook.com/groups/spblogsharechallenge

I lost 80 lbs from my all-time highest but regained almost all of my weight due to the quarantine and my own fault. I let the stress get to me and let the pounds creep back up.
I've decided to restart my journey and challenge myself again. I vow to hold myself accountable to myself and husband as well as interact with others on sp again!

My goal is to get back to maintenance range 120-125 at 5'1 height by next spring/summer 2021
I plan to go on a big trip to celebrate, but will only go if I reach my goal!!
I vow to blog every week at least 2-5 days as well as to exercise 5 days per week and eat under my calorie range!

Goals!
~to get back down to maintenance range!
~strength train!!
~pay off our debt
~save for our own home
I wanted to run a Disney race again but they canceled all races in California (Disneyland) because they are building a new hotel. I can't afford to travel to Orlando lol.

Go for your goals!!

My Goals:
Get my weight back down to maintenance range at a healthy steady pace
(not too fast like last time). Working on toning and creating muscles instead of drastic crash dieting where I lose all my muscle weight. (Seriously, muscle makes you look amazing!)
Goal is to reach maintenance range by October.

Changed my mind. Borrowed the instructions below from MTN_KITTEN (who borrowed them from someone else), commenting on another blog asking about this. Saving your entries to PDF is a better way to go, because it retains any pics you might have embedded, allows clicking on any links you used, and perhaps best of all, allows you to get the comments, too, without weird formatting issues. And it's pretty quick, too.

Assuming you're using a laptop or desktop, haven't tried on a tablet or phone.

    ----
Open (each individual) blog ... not just the front view of all your blogs ... actually open the blog
Right click anywhere within the text
    Select Print
Set Printer to Microsoft Print to PDF (or SAVE AS PDF)
    Set pages to ALL
    Click Print (or Save)

Select a file name for the pdf, and a destination (make a separate folder, perhaps)

My blog copying is just the brute force version. Highlight text, ctrl-c, click on word, ctrl-v, rinse and repeat. Like I said, I only did two pages, or about 30 entries before I got bored, and I have about 1050 entries to go. I think I can sit down on a couple of days, crank the music loud, and mindlessly copy them over. But we'll see.

Hi there! I used to work for a Search Engine Marketing company, and I work in web applications. I won't speculate on how Spark is operated, but I heard that SparkPeople had 16 million subscribers, which in the web world, is a very enviable place to be. If they had trouble monetizing, I can't guess why, but it is unusual with that many subs. I'm guessing it has more to do with wanting to do something new, but that's just a guess. The new site isn't for me, but I wish them the best. Spark was a very important part of getting my weight loss and life straightened out, so I am thankful for that.

Facebook stresses me out too! I dropped off there a couple of years ago. My friends and family were posting too many unfunny memes (at least I got tired of them, especially the political ones). I kept my instagram because all I really want to see is pictures of my friends' kids and puppies/kitties. Facebook was just too toxic and driving me crazy.
