Hi Anna, Thank you for answering my questions. I was pretty sure you are more to the north thus closer to the equator, thus less likely to have ice/snow in winter. but I wonder if it is possible to have killing frosts although probably quite rare.
My crocus some are blooming and getting close to gone-by while others have yet to produce bud ... I also have some daffodils in bloom and a great many more that have yet to produce their buds.. the main reason for the long bloom season is when the ground became bare from the snow and warmed enough for the bulbs (corms) to break through the surface.
It is still chilly, sweatshirt weather the breeze/wind still has a bit to it.
As to COVID.. I am still not 'in-person' socializing. Still going into stores when I need something and try to make as few forays into stores as possible. I have heard there are a few individuals who refuse to wear a mask of any kind/quality. The ones who must exercise their right to choice over the well being of the general public. There will always be some of them. For the most part I think my wee corner of the world (so far) has had very few deaths caused by COVID.. But my corner is quite rural so to a greater extent one must go out of their way to be around other people. As opposed to those in urban settings where one must work very hard to avoid contact with others. I am scheduled for my 2nd pfitzer shot next week. Last I heard about 35% of the population of my state that is eligible for the vaccine have actually had their 1 shot. & about 18% are fully vaccinated. But as of earlier this week everybody 16 of age or older is eligible. when about 6 weeks ago it was just seniors and medical professionals that were eligible.
I have not really worried about this virus, I have and am doing everything I reasonable can to protect myself from others, kn95 masks, hand sanitizer, and trying to keep well rested and to eat healthy, then praying that I am doing the best I can.

So, I think I told you a whole lot more than you wanted to hear... that is me,,, wind me up I chat on and on for hours. Take Care my Friend, stay safe & healthy.
    love & hugs, Audra

How are you doing Anna? I saw Yuma today. Was so cool, since it's been 6 months since we saw him. I called him and here he come, talking away. He was happy and looked great! I posted a new pic of him on my feed, if you want to see him. You always ask about him, so I wanted you to know. Have a good day. Hope you're well. We're doing good. Take care. emoticon
