When I first started losing weight, it was just watching what I ate, then I did this UofA study that had me doing the Jenny Craig program (2 year free program). I went from 180 to 138. I would not recommend the JC program, food selection was not very good and not good for your body. I craved natural homemade food. Went from 138 to 168 quickly. Then decided to do the Jorge Cruise Carb/Sugar Belly Fat Program - excellent. P90X, has helped me with shaping up and increasing my endurance. Once I am done with my 90 days, I plan to start Couch to 5K and still go to the Rec. Center. At my age it is much harder to get in shape and lose weight. You are starting at an excellent time of your life. "YOU GO GIRL" emoticon

Welcome!! I am also here in Tucson, AZ. I just completed Week 10 of P90X, and go the Student Recreation Center at the UofA for added torture. If you ever need any motivation with P90X or want to talk about exercise and nutrition I am here for you. Everything is possible once you take that first step. Many blessings. emoticon
