Being overweight all my life has been difficult. When I was pregnant two years ago, I was the healthiest I've ever been. I craved healthy foods. After I delivered my son, I lost all the baby weight and more. Slowly, within 6 months, the weight crept back up.

I've dieted, exercised, taken pills, changed eating habits, you name it, I've tried it. I want to lose 20 pounds, but I want to learn to incorporate exercise and affordable healthy eating habits into my family's lives. We can all benefit from this.

We're talking about trying for another child next summer, and I'd really like to be a healthier person before I get pregnant again. I'd like to start off healthy so it will be easier to get back in shape afterwards - and keep it off this time!

My Goals:
#1. Now that my baby is almost 2, I want to stop wearing Maternity Shirts "because they fit better"
#2. I want to get to a healthy and comfortable weight, little by little.
#3. I want to be able to jog a full mile consistently.
#4. I want to teach my son to have a healthy relationship with food by watching how I have made changes to my eating lifestyle.
#5. I want my son to get as much exercise as he possibly can while he's young so he learns to be active as an adult.

My Program:
I am tracking all my foods, water, etc every day to stay on track. I'm exercising a minimum of 3 times a week for 30 minutes each. I am toning my upper body, which previously had no strength. I am encouraging myself when I'm down and congratulating myself when I'm up.
