Many thanks to the Spark Team for creating SparkPeople! I have found these tools invaluable.

I am now working full-time as a marketing/BD person in a large law firm and going to a US law school at night. Which means I no longer have time to train or teach pilates & yoga. No suprisingly, I have gained 8 lbs. back!

The second photo I posted is of me around 2000, when I had just enrolled in law school in Europe--locked up in a library most days, all day--and promptly gained alot of weight . I am not sure but I am going to guess I was about 65 kg/140 lbs. It was a challenging time in many, many ways.

The first photo is on my honeymoon four years later (probably about 53kg/115). I was living in a truly beautiful area of the Middle East on the Mediterranean at the time. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of all the people suffering there today. It was one of the best parts of my life and my love and gratitude goes out to everyone there.

It has been quite a journey...

Fitness Minutes: 465

My Goals:
Get my butt moving every day! Literally!! and go more yoga.

My Program:
Running 3-5 days; 2-3 miles.

Yoga at least 2-3 times a week.

Strength training 2-3 days a week.

Personal Information:
I have lived 'abroad' for most of my adult life including some time in northern Europe and the Middle East. My husband and I 'returned' (he'd never been here before!) to the US about a year and a half ago.

I am a certified personal trainer, pilates instructor and yoga teacher. I enjoy a good challenge and love rock climbing, capoeira and middle eastern (belly) dance.

    Hiya!! I am doing good. I guess I have been pretty hormonal recently. Kinda sucks for my hubby.

    As for soda.. yea, I had a strawberry soda last night and I realized, "I dont even really like this!!"

    Yesterday I gave myself whatever foods I wanted (I had an endoscopy done)-- and I still was under 2000 calories!! Hahaha.
