I am 38 years old and recently married the love of my life on November 02, 2014.. I enjoy being outside in nature, seeing beautiful plants and flowers, and watching the sunset (and sunrise if I get up early enough--LOL!). I moved from Washington State to Texas about a year ago and am really enjoying this beautiful state. I joined SparkPeople on 5/23/15 and am motivated by all the resources and the groups to embark on my journey of creating and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
*08/03/16* Moved back to Washington State. Got off track and now starting fresh.

My Goals:
*Lose 72 pounds by 1/27/2016.
* Engage in an active lifestyle that includes regular fitness activities
* Work with a medical team to improve symptoms of depression and PTSD


My Program:
* I plan my meals for the week and create a grocery shopping list from that
* Track my food intake first thing in the morning to ensure that day's plan is within my recommended calorie intake range and that I am getting a balance of recommended nutrients and a correct balance of protein, carbohydrates, and fat. By doing this first thing in the morning, I am able to make any necessary adjustments for the day.
* I plan ahead of time based on my schedule, weather, etc. how I am going to get my fitness in, i.e., what and how long
* I am active in the community and blog on a regular basis to keep myself accountable and to gain/offer support and encouragement
