My Goals:
2021 WORD: FEASIBLE
It is FEASIBLE to expect to lose 10 lbs a season, 40 lbs for 2021 year.

It is FEASIBLE to look at weight loss in a simpler manner; behaving "as if" you are already at your goal and acting accordingly.

It is NOT FEASIBLE to expect drastic loss.
I did it the jackrabbit way... lost 80, gained 70 back... time to take the turtle route.

It is NOT FEASIBLE to hold your mind hostage with constant rules, worries, and standards. Be kind to yourself. Break the cycle of guilt.

Long term goal: to weigh 170 within 3 years.

This gives me a goal of 37 pounds yearly to lose.

We all know November-December is a difficult time to lose, so this will be my maintenance period.

So, aiming for 40 lbs a year, but during the first 10 months.
4 pounds a month.
1 pound a week.

10 pounds a seasonal challenge. Making my 5% will be a bonus. :)
My goal is to lose some weight, and keep it off.

My Program:
EAT INTUITIVELY.
Snack mindfully.
Indulge on special occasions with the portion size.

New fitness routine for Spring (begins 4/3):
Walk 30 min daily
ST 10 min in mornings
20 min row machine (10 morning, 10 before shower at night)
Cubii for 60 min daily

Hi! I think I landed on your page from the firecracker team - great goals here! I like your "feasible" phrases too!

lol, your comment made me laugh! The oilers left Houston awhile ago and moved to Tennessee, changing their name to the "Titans". Eventually Houston created the "Texans". Back then I was a cowboys fan (fan of Troy Aikman). I guess now I'm more of a Texans fan (since I live in Houston) but to be honest I don't really watch football and if I do it's "the Aggies", my alma mater, in college football.

Your plans sound solid and well thought out. I am taking it slowly and working to ingrain good habits as well. When I think out my food and construct a balanced plate which is filling and then I remember eating foods with little nutritional value and a large imbalance of fat, sugar and calories I shudder. Heavy food can be delectable but wow....doesn't make a body feel very good after the last bite. emoticon
