OMG!!! I did really, really good.

Today I did my hour of cardio on my Gazelle while listen to the CD of Cher's Farewell tour. I did my first mile under 20 minutes, did 3.03 miles in the hour and burned 403 calories.

Many of you might being reading this and thinking, "what's the big deal?" Well, it is a big deal for me. If you read any of my Sparks page, you know that I have some physical challenges. I have had to walk with the aid of a walker since 1996. Before that, it was a year in a wheelchair.

You would think that the machine would be easy to master, and it is for the average person. I would give anything to have video footage of my first time on this contraption. People on walkers do not move there arms back and forth like normal walking people. Well, there are no breaks on a gazelle, but I really didn't need them since my speed was so slow that it didn't even register, My arms and legs were going every way but the right way. (ROFL just remembering it) If I remember correctly, I stayed on for about 5 minutes and none of the numbers on the "thingy" (don't know what you call it) registered anything except my heart rate which was going pretty good from intermittent fear and laughter.

I called all my family to let them know about this and now my Spark family knows.

I know today I was supposed to write about some other things for a challenge, but this was to awesome not to share.

Tomorrows topic will be my thought about choices.

I love all y'all who have supported and encouraged me so far. Words cannot express how I feel about you and thanks seems so small.
