1st try

Saturday, March 07, 2009

I don't keep journals or write blogs. It just hasnt been me. I am a very private person and keep most everything to myself. Well...I have tried to make a conscience effort to change this.

Around my 40th birthday, my life changed.

After I get my thoughts together. Get over my shyness and being such a Introvert. I shall try to blog. It makes me really uncomfortable writing things down. I figure if you didnt catch it on video...I Didn't do it..lol.

Be warned: I get bored very easily...I tend to get into trouble ...well, it finds me. I dont actively seek it.*wink*

I think of the blog as my best friend and just tell it what is going through my head. It is a great place to let your thoughts gel and ideas form. Maybe you could do like I did in the beginning, I just listed an affirmation for the day. Like, I will be strong today. then an explantion of how I would be strong for that day, (no chocolate). I think you did great for your first try! I seem to be unable to hide from trouble too! I usually go seeking mischief, though! I can't help tweaking the tiger by the tail!

    joy and blessings,
    Zo

You don't have to blog but you may want to journal .I've found that although I don't write down my thoughts everday journaling can be a great stress reliever ,a decision making tool and keep me out of trouble (for me that's putting my "feet" in my mouth).

Well, I'm kinda like you - private. So I wind up sharing only the things I choose to share. And that works well for me.

I *will* say that I've found that blogging about the stuff I DON'T want to share sometimes has been really cathartic, though. I get so many new perspectives that I realise that my original view may not have been "reality", even though it always seemed real until I shared. :)

You can do this - we're mostly kind. :)

    Hugs,
    Maya

Blogging and posting will become addictive -- I promise!

Remember, the internet does provide some protection so you don't feel so out there and vulnerable.

If it helps, think of blogging and posting as your alter-ego. ;)

And I have the same problem with trouble -- it finds me a lot too!
