A Little Bit of Bad is NOT Good

I had a wonderful day with my family yesterday for Thanksgiving. My Granddaughter is such a gracious hostess and her husband is a real gem. He is a true Southern boy and his family was there too and the food was incredible. (I have a picture of it on my sparkpage~~not showing the desserts)
My plan was to taste small amounts of what I really like, allow myself two small desserts, and eat turkey breast. AND I did this. Problem is that everything was loaded with "bad" carbs and fat and sugar. So this morning I am up two pounds.
My first instinct was, "Oh no, I still cannot control this food issue." But then I thought, YES!! I can! This is a new day, I am totally back on plan and will be doing my cardio walking for 40 minutes!!
A great lesson learned. And I feel so good to be able to immediately take control again. I am beating the food control devil. And that makes me feel
This picture of me, 86 pounds gone, is so much better than all that food. I lost a battle but I am winning the war BIG time!!
