Natural appetite suppressant

Thursday, July 21, 2011

The other night I was drinking my post workout protein shake when I happened to look down into my glass. There floating in the pink liquid was an earwig. For those that don't know what an earwig is (my mother-in-law having not actually heard of them tell she moved to Idaho leads me to believe the may be a local horror) its a rather nasty looking bug, long with pincers on the back end. These little buggers are right up there with spiders when it comes to giving me the heevie jeevies. So knowing that I had almost drank one just about made me sick. I actually gagged. Since then I have been paranoid of everything I eat or drink. If I happen to think about it while eating my appetite goes out the window. So I guess I can now say that the bug I previously found useless has now served a purpose lol.

In "She's Come Undone," the main character loses weight by imagining there's mold on everything she eats. LOL. I think earwigs would definitely do it for me (I live in Utah, where the earwig might as well be our state bug).

At least you didn't drink/eat it! I remember once as a kid eating a salad, looking at my next bite, and finding half of a little green worm. So I know where you're coming from on appetite suppressant!

Proof once again that all God's creatures have a purpose! LOL! That would have wrecked my appetite, too, but I don't think I'll try it anytime soon, at least not on purpose!
