31 hours on the clock when I walked in this morning!!

Thursday, May 10, 2007

OMG! June 25 cannot get here soon enough!! I still have had to get thru a full day today and tomorrow!! And when I walked in this morning, I already had 31 hours on the clock!! And no overtime pay!!! You do what you need to do to get the job done!!! I am so ready to transfer out of this miserable work trap! I just do not ever see the situation getting better so I better get out while I still have some sanity left!! So toady we had a going away luncheon for the coworker who put in his notice the day after I accepted the transfer. Since he is leaving the company, he only had to give 2 weeks notice. But since I am transferring, I am stuck here until my boss lets me go! Somehow he weaseled an extra 30 days into my having to stay!! Oh well. So at the luncheon, I was really good and ate the smoked salmon and steamed vegetables! They fixed my vegetables especially for me because I wanted no butter! And the salmon was just yummy!

I plan to leave here before 5pm and get home in time to get in a decent workout on m elliptical and Bowflex and get to bed on time!! We will have to see!!

When working with the 'POD PEOPLE' you just gotta get through it without becoming one of them. :o)

I hope you find your transfer to be all you hope for. I read that you are in the process of adjusting the thyroid hormones. I recently found out I have hypothyroidism and the meds are still in adjustment. Funny how many people have NO IDEA what this is all about. They think - take a pill - be all better. IF ONLY......I've added you to my friends list to keep in touch. Wishing you well this day! (and tomorrows to of course) Terri
