Day One for Health & Fitness in 2014

Its been four years that I first joined sparkpeople and for the first time in years felt how good healthy can be. But as time passed and life happened tracking started to slow down { I thought that now portion control had became a second habit :( } But slowly that second habit was tossed aside and portion distrotion started again and my tighter cloths started telling me another story.

Never ever in my life a year has gone as fast and as eventful as past year 2013. Now as we are already into brand new year 2014, first two days went again just like that , spending time with family, cooking with them and enjoying fruit { food } of our labour. Most of us make resolutions by end of year, and many of those resolutions are forgotten or dropped by the end of first month {statistics say so}. I did same, so from quite some time I have stopped making any resolution too. { My year 2013 in short www.mytastycurry.

So this year too I am not making any resolutions, because resolutions do not work but commitment does. So I am making commitment to my self of practicing portion control and moving my body everyday for atleast 30 minutes for next 100 days. So it will be my project #100happydays.

Starting today more mindful of what goes inside my stomach { easy because I am a healthy foodie} and carefully watching my portions. More importantly exercise which is a great challenge for me.
