Fit, Firm and Focus - Day 1

Well, I've been back with SP for almost a month and, with the help of my lovely friends, teams and the SP resources, I'm making progress. The weight is edging down and I'm feeling more energetic. Good work, you say - and true, I AM doing well!
However...Now I have a confession to make.
At this stage of the process in the past, some sneaky gremlin has thrown a spanner into the works...made me complacent...made me sneak extra nibbles back in...think I can skip a workout or two...or three...
Whoops! How did that couple of pounds go back on? Let's face it. I'm going to put it all back on again. I always do. Might as well settle on the sofa with a bag of carby whatever...
Slippy slope sound familiar? Does this gremlin sneak into your unconscious too?
Well, Goodbye Gremo! You are not getting me this time.
Here's the plan. I renew my pledge to ME.
28 Days of FIT, FIRM and FOCUS.
Every day I will:-
1# FIT. Get my cardio in. Low inpact; walking; higher impact intervals; use the great resources here and the ones that I have at home. Hey, I complain about things collecting dust. They won't if I use them!
2~FIRM. Spend 10mins toning and strengthening. The long term advantage, particularly for a lady of my fine vintage, is a no-brainer.
3*FOCUS. Reaffirm WHY I'm doing this. Do something that keeps my HEAD in a positive place.
Sooo....This Blog is my focus for day 1 and the DETerminator will be back tomorrow!
My 3lb weights are ready and, from under the fuffed dust cloud, we have a 30min indoor-walking DVD (You don't want to know about the weather this am but there's a reason the English are born practically waterproof.).
