Fit, Firm and Focus - day 2
Sunday, September 21, 2014
Well, here we are at day 2.
Feeling very determined and patient because I just lost an entire blog entry to something weird that timed out my almost-complete entry. So, I'll be brief...
Fit #Day 2 - 30 mins Dance walk.
'Dance like no-one is watching,' they say.
'Glad no-one is!' I reply.
The legs do good but the arms...oh, the arms! Guess my generation were trained to keep their elbows in at all time. However, looking on the bright side, the attempts to get all four of my limbs working in synchronicity will do wonders for my co-ordination.
Firm~Day 2 - In an attempt to develop my arms, I selected chest dumbell press. Logic being that lying on my back would enable me to focus on solely on getting those arms going up and down together. Worked a treat until I noticed assorted small spider webs and dusty bits on the light fittings.....
Focus *Day 2 - see above for the need for this.
My actual focus aim was to consider something I read recently. 'Make dissatisfaction work for you.' That's a hard one. My experience of dissatisfaction usually resulted in the kind of negativity that led to over-eating and general inertia.
I guess what it means is that you harness how bad you feel about something and use it to drive change.
This I'm going to do.
Don't go down when you are unhappy ....go forwards!!
