Fit, Firm and Focus - Day 5

Oh, the Gremlins were out in force this morning!
Externally - there were a stack of irritations. The washer had expired overnight with a batch of white towels inside. The car has clearly got a slow puncture. These things are going to cost money in repairs, Grrr.
But, internally, I woke up tetchy and blah. Couldn't find the face under the wrinkles and the knees had aged 10 years overnight. You may know the feeling but I hope you don't.
I was not going to do this today. No happy blog. No exercise. Grump, grump; chomp, chomp. Fat, Flabby and Fed up - Day 5.
But who am I hurting? Start the list here.... It's not just me on it.
So, I'm going to start with 'Focus' today.
Focus* Day 5 - The 'result driven question'.
The 'result driven question' is the mind shift that works for me when I start down the negative path of 'Why am I so useless/flabby/ weak-willed/etc?'
If I actually answer the above, I can come up with a thousand miserable little reasons, really beat myself up and that will simply feed into the spiral.
HOWEVER, If I turn things around and ask,
'What can I do to be less flabby?'
'What would be a good motivator or reward for my efforts?'
'What are my successes so far?'
'How did I achieve them?'
'How can I build a daily schedule that includes my exercise?'
'What can I do TODAY?'
Hopefully, you get my drift?
FIT # Day 5 - I am going to dance. Yes... arm-wavy, woo-hoo, Mom at a wedding boogie. And if the 'arm-wavy' is a step too far, I will revert to the nifty sixties footwork of my youth. ;)
