Interesting Tidbits

Sunday, March 29, 2015

So in the same vein as my freind, Millisma, here are some interesting tidbits I found:

After racking up $40 in late fees for a VHS, Ree Hastings was inspired to start NETFLIX.

It would take 1000 years to watch every video on YouTube.

A shark can detect one part of blood in 100 million parts of water.

If you try to suppress a sneeze, you can rupture a blood vessel in your head or neck and die.

A hummingbird weighs less than a penny.

Twenty percent of office coffee mugs contain fecal matter.

Smoking marijuana in Jamaica is illegal and laws are vigorously enforced.

Leonardo Da Vinci could write with one hand and draw with the other at the same time.

Cows have best friends and experience stress when they are removed from them.

Thanks Barbara! I am going to have to check out that website. I'd heard a couple of these but the rest are all new and very interesting.

Ha, ha....glad I always used my own mug at work.

    Have a great week.

OMG! I am never suppressing a sneeze ever again, and I'm definitely using my own mug at work (and running it under the boiling water before I use it!)
It doesn't do to look up too many 'interesting' facts, does it?! I'm terrible for that.......... head full of random stuff I've read 'somewhere'!
